Owen Torrey is a writer from Toronto. His work has been published in The Literary Review of Canada, Canadian Literature, A Public Space, Indiana Review, Gulf Coast, Maisonneuve, Geist, The Malahat Review, Oxonian Review, Contemporary Verse 2, Columbia Journal, Best Canadian Poetry, and elsewhere. He has been nominated for the CBC-Radio Canada Poetry Prize and the Montreal International Poetry Prize, and awarded the Roger Conant Hatch Prize for Lyric Poetry and the Kim Ann Arstark Memorial Award. His first book, Unseasonal, is forthcoming from Véhicule Press, and his chapbook, Overblue, is out now with Anstruther Press. Owen currently lives in Providence, RI, where he is an MFA candidate in poetry at Brown University.
