Owen Torrey is a writer from Toronto. His work can be found in The Literary Review of Canada, Canadian Literature, Geist, Maisonneuve, Gulf Coast, Columbia Journal, Oxonian Review, Best Canadian Poetry, ZYZZYVA, Contemporary Verse 2, The Malahat Review, League of Canadian Poets (poets.ca), and elsewhere. He has been nominated for the CBC-Radio Canada Poetry Prize and the Montreal International Poetry Prize, and awarded the Roger Conant Hatch Prize for Lyric Poetry and the Kim Ann Arstark Memorial Award. His debut collection, Unseasonal, is forthcoming from Véhicule Press, and his chapbook, Overblue, is out now with Anstruther Press. Owen currently lives in Providence, RI, where he is an MFA candidate in poetry at Brown University.
